A raree show was a box on a strap — a penny, an eye to the lens, and a painted world far deeper than any box could hold.

This one hangs on your wall instead. Lean in, walk around it, and what is behind it moves the way it would if it were really there.

How it goes

  1. Say where. A few words, or a few photographs of the room you are standing in — the world picks up where your walls stop.
  2. Hang it up. It stays put on the wall while you move, with the parallax of something genuinely on the other side.
  3. Pass it on. A world travels as a link. Whoever taps it steps in on the spot, with nothing to install first.
